Bee Removal

We know Spring is approaching when flowers and other plant life start blooming.  However, one other way we can tell is when stinging insects come out, and bee removal season begins too.

Africanized “Killer” Bees can produce honey very quickly and in high temperatures.  This is just one reason they are the most well known species of Bees to the Southwest desert region.  These Bees are aggressive and will protect their colony under any circumstance.  They have also been known to chase people for more than a quarter mile when in an aggressive state.  If you are being chased by Africanized Bees, run in a zig zag pattern until you reach shelter.

Although they are known as “Killer” Bees, it is not because the amount of venom they produce.  Africanized Bees attack in great numbers, therefore causing more danger to human kind.  Despite the fact these Bees are very aggressive once their hive is formed, they do not always pose a threat.
